What is Women of Faith all about?

Refreshment –
Imagine getting together with your closest girlfriends for a weekend. Think of the laughter you’d share, the tears you’d shed, the FUN you’d have. Now multiply that by 10,000 or so. You’re starting to get the idea.

Reality without Reproach –
We’re not perfect. We don’t expect you to be perfect, either. Our speakers are real women who share stories from their real lives. We’re here to encourage women, not to condemn anyone. Even those who have never set foot in a church feel comfortable at our conferences. You can check your mask at the door. You’re welcome just as you are.

Relationships –
Connecting with God and with each other. At Women of Faith we believe that God loves you – no matter what your situation in life may be. We also believe that He wants a personal relationship with you. Through our conferences, more than 150,000 women have indicated decisions to start or renew that relationship. The Way of Christ: 
For Spiritual Renewal and Developing Christian Leaders

The Way of Christ is a three day retreat that takes a New Testament look at Christianity as a lifestyle.  The highly structured weekend is designed to strengthen and renew the faith of Christian people, and through them, their families, churches, and the environment in which they live and work.  The retreat is a united effort of laity and clergy to aid congregations in developing Christian leaders who will feel so renewed and empowered that the church will likewise be renewed.   A retreat is held every spring and fall usually in March and October.  The weekend begins on a Thursday evening and ends on a Sunday night.  There are separate weekends for men and women.  During the weekend you will attend morning chapel services and celebrate communion, pray, sing, enjoy fellowship, eat delicious food, make new friends and discuss talks given by laity and clergy.  The talks center on the grace of God, the reality of grace in your life, how to live the life of grace and how to impart grace to others.  Spring weekends in 2012 are March 8-11 for men and March 15-18 for women.  For more information contact Karen Skiles.

Faith Quest:  For Spiritual Renewal and Developing Christian Leaders

Faith Quest is a Christian retreat for youth 16-20 years of age who desire to explore and deepen their relationship with God.  A Faith Quest begins on Friday and ends on Sunday night.  During the weekend you will attend morning chapel services and celebrate communion, pray, sing, enjoy fun time with others, eat delicious food, make new friendships, and discuss talks given by other teens and adults.  The talks center on the grace of God, the reality of grace in your life, how to live the life of grace, and how to impart grace to others.  Each participant will experience the weekend a little differently, but all come into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.  You will end the weekend feeling loved and blessed.
