The Living Stone is a gathering of people from all walks of life and many different religious experiences and backgrounds. Our worship service offers contemporary and traditional music, and the freedom that comes from knowing that worship isn’t about what you wear, but about glorifying our God who loves us, and sent His only Son as an atonement for our sins.
We believe in and are guided by the Bible, the inspired and always relevant Word of God. Which has taught us, ...to know and rely on the love God has for us. God is Love. Whoever lives in love, lives in God and God in them. 1 John 4:16
In 1 Corinthians 1:10, The Apostle Paul is appealing to us. As brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.
By combining these two truths with Jesus’ command to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind... and to love your neighbor as yourself, as found in Matthew 22:37-39, gives us a pattern for life that enables us to carry out the Great Commission as taught in Matthew 28:18-20
This is the driving force behind The Living Stone’s Mission and our verse of the year from Isaiah 61:1, “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”
Please join us at 9:30 Sunday morning as we worship the Trinity of God: Father, Son and Spirit!
